    Career on the lawn

Big stage for small springs: technical springs from Möglingen are even on television. But the small constructions are well hidden and are only visible to the initiated viewer. Whenever a major tennis tournament is broadcast, for example. Wimbledon, the Australian Open or the Porsche Cup: springs from Mario Schaaf GmbH & Co. KG are used. On the court, they ensure that the great sport is even fairer. It is a small technical spring that attaches a special sensor to the net, where it measures whether or not the tennis ball touches the net when serving. The spring holds the sensor in place on the edge of the net and allows it to be attached and detached in a matter of seconds if the highly sensitive device needs to be removed quickly due to the weather.
